India is the 4th largest producer of agrochemicals after the USA, Japan, and China. India produces more than 60 technical grade pesticides being manufactured indigenously by 125 producers consisting of large and medium scale enterprises.
Various hazardous gases emitted by this industry are ammonia (NH3) and ammonium salt aerosols, nitric and nitrous oxides (NO and N2O), fluorine – as silicon fluoride (SiF4) and hydrogen fluoride (HF) – sulfur oxides (SOx ), and operation causes dust are unloading and feeding, mixing operations (in the reactor), storage (in the curing building), and fertilizer handling operations release fertilizer dust.

  • CRUSHERS – in the fertilizer industry As a primary crusher our FAM-made crushers are used for the secondary crushing of minerals, raw materials, and bulk commodities. The types of crushing machines are distinguished by their working principles: Through erosion, impact, pressure, hammer, or shear. Distinctively, mills are used to get the grain size to a medium granulation from coarse, while crushers reduce the coarse feed material down to the grain size of a few millimeters. – The MAM, which is the company’s product brand, offers hitslump crushers, rolling crushers (single, double, and shear design), continuous roller crushers, and hammer crushers.
  • APRON FEEDERS – In the fertilizer industry While FAM designed Apron feeders readily cater for the removal of material from under low-lying hoppers which could be made of either steel or concrete and their installation would be above Apron feeders. – The conveyor system is designed by building a frame of chains taken by the single link, where the horse is placed. The system involves two chains on parallel strings through them close pins in deep-hardening which as well as special treatment of the pins and bushings afford the system outstanding strength and wear resistance.
  • ROLLER SCREENS – In the fertilizer industry FAM constructed roller screens are an example of a separating device that includes individual rotating shafts with the direction of rotation. The control rods are made on the Sulzer bending machine in the form of curved triangular or round discs which are mounted eccentrically. – The upturn and movement pattern of the rolls coming from the material flow and the roller arrangement of the rolls bring a slight flow to the product. These adhesive, sticky, and granular additives are mixed with the progressing powders.
  • IN-PIT CRUSHING SYSTEMS –  In the fertilizer industry The hydraulic crushers of FAM in-pit crushing plants can be used for size reduction of hard materials, which will be subsequently transported in conveyor trucks. The discharge boom of the jaw crushes the overburden, which then goes into the classified mobile conveyor bridge and in turn into the conveyor’s primary conveyor loader.
